Program Description:

The main objective of the Master of Science Degree Program is to prepare nurses in advanced nursing practice, including clinical specialist and nurse practitioner. The graduate of the Master's Program, in addition to giving theory and researched-based direct care, provides leadership in the development of nursing. The Ph.D. Program in Nursing focuses on preparation for leadership roles in nursing, especially in clinical nursing research. Areas of concentration include ethics, ethical judgment and decision making, nursing diagnosis and diagnostic/therapeutic judgment, and life processes/selected human response patterns in health and illness.
