Program Description:
The course work includes the theoretical and research bases of the discipline, ethical/spiritual issues related to the profession, and a wide range of counseling skills. In addition, the 600-hour Practicum synthesizes and applies these elements in a clinical setting. To earn the degree, students must demonstrate a character and professional dedication consistent with the role and responsibility of the professional counselor. The program is designed to meet the educational requirements for Minnesota Licensure for Psychological Practitioner.
