Program Description:
This is an interdisciplinary and interdepartmental program, involving 62 faculty members from Baylor College of Medicine, Rice University, the University of Houston, the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, and the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. It is designed to train students by employing a strong research emphasis in structural and computational biology and molecular biophysics, while also providing a solid background in biochemistry and cell and molecular biology.
