Program Description:

The Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery program gives you the quality education you need to succeed in the highly demanding field of podiatric medicine. At Barry University's School of Podiatric Medicine, you'll find: an excellent medical education from distinguished faculty; outstanding hospital- and community-based clinical training; dual-degree options in business administration (MBA) and public health (MPH); preparation for coveted residencies (Barry has a 100 percent placement rate); a new, state-of-the-art education facility; and a supportive environment. The program is one of the only two podiatric medical programs in the U.S. affiliated with a comprehensive university. You also learn alongside a diverse student body. In fact, Barry’s program has the highest percentage of women and minority students among U.S. Schools of Podiatric Medicine. The Doctor of Podiatric Medicine program is accredited by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education. Barry University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
