Program Description:

Barry University Physician Assistant (PA) Program is dedicated to educating and training PAs with a focus on primary care. The program aims to prepare well-trained health care providers who will extend and complement the capabilities of physicians in primary health care delivery. This purpose is accomplished in a responsive academic and clinical environment conducive to the pursuit of excellence in graduate medical science education, research, and community service. All students who successfully complete the program will be awarded both the Master of Clinical Medical Science and the Physician Assistant Certificate.

The Physician Assistant Program is fully accredited by ARC-PA, the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, Inc.

Eligibility Requirements:

Evidence of prior experience in health care

International Student Requirements:

A minimum score of 600 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or 250 on the computer-based TOEFL
