Program Description:

Barry University's Master of Science in Biology program is especially designed for high school school biology teachers, including certified teachers with a bachelor's in biology or chemistry; teachers reassigned to teach biology and who have been trained out-of-field; certified biology teachers updating their certification; and teachers with continuing education needs. The program satisfies State of Florida requirements. The curriculum covers the core areas of biology, their practical applications in the high school setting, and the relationship between biology and technology. Classes are held in the evenings to fit your schedule.
