Program Information

Degree Offered

Master of Arts in Career and Technical Education

Program Description:

The 100% online Master of Arts in Career & Technical Education from Ball State University (NCA accredited) is designed primarily to meet the needs of current teachers of Career and Technical courses at the secondary or community college level, or those who conduct industrial training.
Teachers enrolled in this program typically prepare their students for careers in welding, building trades, automotive maintenance, and other technical areas. However, their master’s concentrate on CTE curriculum, instruction, research, student organizations, and similar areas. This master’s does not provide initial teacher licensure, but some of the courses it contains may be used in pursuit of a teaching license. Although this program is online, on-campus assistantships with stipends and tuition waivers are available at our Muncie, Indiana, campus.
