Program Description:
The Finance concentration provides the opportunity for in-depth study of the most modern concepts, theories, analytic methods, and problem-solving techniques, emphasizing the practical uses of these financial management principles in businesses, non-profit organizations, and government. The range of courses offered include money and banking, financial accounting, international finance, public finance, and personal financial planning, in addition to the core MBA course in financial management. During the class sessions, students will actively participate in presentations, discussions, and activities highlighting practical business applications, current event applications, problem-solving, analysis of case studies, and other learning activities. The concentration model is designed for non-traditional students with business management experience who want a practitioner-oriented MBA, using thebest available delivery systems and instructional techniques.
