Program Description:

The Babson MBA One-Year Program is suited for those with a strong academic foundation in business and a career-track that demands an accelerated, full-time MBA experience.

The One-Year program starts each May with an intensive 13-week summer semester consisting of three innovative modules that build on undergraduate business education and/or professional experience. Through classroom learning, simulation exercises, and team-based activities, the modules focus on entrepreneurial leadership in a changing global environment. A final component of the core curriculum, a capstone course, is taken during the fall or spring semester. Following the core curriculum, students take electives and can choose courses leading to concentrations in a number of fields, including global management, corporate financial strategy, investments, and marketing.

One of the hallmarks of Babson’s One-Year program is the accelerated curriculum and modular
format of the summer semester. This unique format provides highly motivated students the opportunity to earn an MBA degree in just three semesters of full-time study. The One-Year program, in particular, provides an unparalleled opportunity for to complete an MBA education with students who have a similar academic foundation in business, yet who have held diverse professional business positions.

The richness of the students’ experience, combined with the academic expertise and business experience of the faculty members, contributes to a highly collaborative and dynamic learning environment.
