Program Description:
The Babson MBA, Two-Year program, is ideal for individuals who want a full-time campus experience and need a comprehensive business focus to redirect their careers.
The first year of the Two-Year program is an integrated curriculum focused on entrepreneurial leadership in a changing global environment. The Babson MBA curriculum reflects a model that every course is highly interactive with an emphasis on team-based learning. Core includes a series of Cluster Courses, which are pairings of key disciplinary and functional topics; as well as a Capstone course that examines strategic analysis, formulation and implementation from the perspective of a general manager. To supplement, there is a wide array of elective courses for deeper experiential and field-based learning.
One of the hallmarks of Babson’s Two-Year program is the Babson Consulting Alliance Program (BCAP.) BCAP underscores Babson’s philosophy of bringing the business world into the classroom to allow the immediate application of students’ developing skills. This program both reinforces and extends the MBA curriculum, providing opportunities for students to build a relationship with a client, learn about the corporate arena in depth, and develop competencies in team, time, and client management.
This innovative curriculum, with interdisciplinary team-teaching and built-in flexibility, delivers a business education that superbly prepares students for successful careers.
