Program Description:

At Austin Peay State University, you will have the opportunity to earn a graduate degree in many areas of biological research. The department has especially strong programs of study in field research, including aquatic and terrestrial ecology. Specific field research areas include, but are not limited to, herpetology, ichthyology, entomology, botany, population ecology, acoustic biology, and water pollution ecology. Students also can pursue programs of study in cell and molecular biology, physiology, genetics, and microbiology.
