Auburn's English Department is home to the Southern Humanities Review.
With over thirty members of the Graduate Faculty, including a recent winner of the prestigious James Russell Lowell Prize, we support a range of research programs in literature (e.g., major authors, genres and periods, critical and cultural theory) and language (e.g., composition and rhetoric, linguistics, professional and technical communication, and stylistics).
