Program Description:
Study and research are offered in the general areas of Behavior, Computational/Statistical/Mathematical Biology, Biology Education, Conservation Biology, Molecular and Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, Ecology, Genetics, History of Biology, Evolution and Systematics, Neuroscience, and Physiology. Living systems are studied at the molecular, cellular, individual, population,community and ecosystem conceptual levels of organization. With ASU's new NASA Astrobiology Institute, and Biomedical Institute, there are many diversified opportunities available for graduate students. The Organization For Tropical Studies extends the opportunity for selected Biology Graduate Students to participate each spring or summer in an intensive, eight-week field introduction course in Costa Rica.
