Ph.D.
Format: Campus
Program Description:
The Environmental Psychology program enables students to study humans in relation to their physical environment. As a subdivision of Academic Psychology, Environmental Psychology upholds the traditional concerns with empirical research, theory building, and hypothesis testing, but it is also intended to be an interdisciplinary intellectual domain. The program is oriented to applied as well as pure research. Environmental Psychology shares with a number of adjacent disciplines the desire for identifying and solving environmental programs and it helps to meet the growing needs that environmental designers and practitioners have for psychological information in their design making.
