Program Description:

The Mental Health Counseling Program is for those who wish to acquire comprehensive skills for the practice of counseling. The Couple and Family Therapy Program is for those interested in developing clinical competencies for the effective practice of couple and family therapy.The Art Therapy Masters Program is for those who want specialized training in the uses of visual art for treatment and problem solving. Either a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or Couple and Family Therapy may be combined with Art Therapy. A post-Master's certificate in Art Therapy is also offered.The Integrative Studies Program is for those who wish to pursue non-clinical, interdisciplinary studies in psychology. Self-directed learners explore new ideas/paths in psychology while combining the program work with community groups in the environment, education, multicultural/diversity training, the arts, staff development and consultation.The Organizational Psychology Program provides the knowledge/skills to effectively assist organizations in fully utilizing the talent of their workforce. Psychological and systemic perspectives for working with individuals, teams and organizations enables graduates to transform and revitalize themselves, organizations and communities. A post-Master's certificate in Foster Care and Adoption Therapy is designed for mental health professionals who work with or want to work with foster care and adopted children and their families. The limited residency option includes attendance at Friday/Saturday classes once each month for nine months.
