Program Description:

The Master of Theology degree requires one year of full-time, specialized study beyond the MDiv degree. This program gives qualified students an opportunity for graduate study and research in 1 particular area of theological study with appropriate minors.

The purpose of the MTh degree is to provide specialized training in a major area of study with a cognate area closely related to the major area of emphasis. MTh students are advised by the chair of the department, or his/her appointee, and the director of the MTh Program.

Eligibility Requirements:

-Recommendations: Two from seminary teachers, 1 from a church administrator or recent employer.
-Statement of purpose - 350 words.

International Student Requirements:

If English is not the first language and/or not the language of instruction in secondary and post-secondary study,a minimum TOEFL score of 550 on the paper-based test or 213 in the computer based test, or a MELAB score of 80, is required.
