Program Description:
The American University of Paris offers three master's programs in the field of Cross-Cultural Business and Global Communications which prepare students -through research and hands on training- to be leaders in cross-cultural dialogue. The programs offer specialized courses on topics such as cross-cultural business management, cultural policy, global sustainable business, branding, advertising, international ethics, the public sphere, transnational political communication, mediated communications, civil society, politics and economics of global media and public relations. Upon finishing the program, business students are fully trained as international managers particularly skilled for the interrelated global business environment which requires unprecedented active participation by the private sector in socioeconomic development. Communications students complete the program armed with a full arsenal of theoretical and practical skills. They are ready to become leaders in a world of cross-border dialogues of all sorts.
• Master of Arts in Global Communications
Focus On: Internet digitalization, brand globalization, issues in intercultural communications, development of the communications industry. Internship and thesis options available.
• Master of Arts in Global Communications and Civil Society
Focus On: Political and Institutional Agency, Discourse and Mediated Communication, Interaction between State, private business and third sector. Required off-site practical course (past courses have taken place in India, Tunisia and Morocco)
• Master of Arts in Cross Cultural and Sustainable Business Management
Focus On: Regenerative Circular Economy, Corporate Social Responsibility, Cross-Cultural Business Management, International Ethics, International Strategy, and Leadership.
