M.A.- Organizational Behavior
Program Description:
The program is designed to meet the educational needs of managers, organizational consultants, human resource specialists, business owners, and other career minded professionals by providing a practical curriculum related to management issues involving people and organizational processes. Students are trained in participatory management practices, leadership, team building, organizational change and development, employee motivation, and organizational consultation. The curriculum also addresses issues related to employee satisfaction, commitment, and productivity.
Graduates are prepared to utilize their learning in a variety of organizations, including public, private, and volunteer organizations. OP’s faculty are working professionals who bring expertise and their applied work experiences into the classroom.
The graduate program in Organizational Behavior is a 16-month program. Courses are offered once a month in an intensive weekend format on Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday.
The MAOB is a scholar-practitioner degree, designed for the working professional, manager, human resources person, trainer, or organizational consultant who wants to acquire new skills and knowledge related to management and organizational behavior.
