Psy.D. - Marital and Family Therapy
Program Description:
The Marital and Family Therapy (MFT) doctoral program at Alliant provides students with the essential training needed to pursue a career as a professional marriage and family therapist. The Doctor of Psychology in MFT allows a student to be licensed as a marital and family therapist and/or as a psychologist. Students who complete the MFT masters at Alliant can apply all of their masters degree coursework and practicum hours toward the doctoral program.
Students in the MFT program have the opportunity to complete any or all of the first three semesters of the program in Mexico City through the MFT Mexico City Satellite program, which includes a summer semester of Spanish Language and Cultural Immersion in Mexico City.

International Student Requirements:
1. Official, translated transcripts and results from an educational credential evaluation service agency, including degree equivalency to a 4 year baccalaureate degree from an accredited university, US semester credit and grade equivalent for each course, and US grade point average.
2. English proficiency must be evidenced by TOEFL/TWE results.
