Program Description:

The 52-hour M.A.T. in Teaching Secondary English program, open to both women and men, is designed specifically for candidates with a B.A. in English or a closely-related area. Included are: Master's level high school English teaching certificate; emphasis on gender equality/diversity issues; two teaching internships; small classes; and a writing workshop to teach the art of writing.
