Program Description:
The Academy of Art University's School of Photography develops technically and aesthetically sound photographers, capable of successfully entering and competing in the open marketplace upon graduation. Students learn from working professionals, who guide you to find your own unique "style" both by content and approach. As one of the nation’s top photography schools, we train you to be the next top photographer.
Students from the School of Photography have won numerous awards, including the Pulitzer Prize, APA awards and CMYK awards. They have also shown work at the Fall PDN conference in New York, in CMYK Magazine, AdBusters and Vibe.
Established in 1929, the university offers accredited AA, BFA, BA, M.Arch, MA and MFA programs in 14 areas of art and design emphasis. Students can also enroll in a flexible online degree program.
