Program Description:

Everywhere you look, you see the work of a graphic designer. At the Academy of Art University, you'll find yourself in a real world atmosphere doing graphic design the way professionals do. Taught by instructors drawn from a renowned talent pool, the program provides a robust curriculum of conceptual problem solving, innovation, critical thinking and formal design as well as branding and marketing strategies. The department holds hundreds of national and international awards, including at least 65 Clio’s.
By the time you receive your diploma, you'll have the honed skills and technical knowledge necessary to be interviewed and hired by companies such as DreamWorks SKG, LucasFilm, Landor Associates, Primo Angeli, Tolleson, and Disney.

Established in 1929, the university offers accredited AA, BFA, BA, M.Arch, MA and MFA programs in 14 areas of art and design emphasis. Students can also enroll in a flexible online degree program.
