Program Description:

The objective of the M.Sc. Programme in Signal and Information Processing for Communications (SIPCom) is twofold:To provide a deep understanding of the standard and advanced methods and techniques that are currently implemented or will be implemented in near future in the critical constituting elements of modern communication systems and networks. To present principles and results of Information Theory, to understand their impact on communication systems and networks in practical engineer terms, i.e. more specifically to place the above methods and techniques and their performance within the theoretical framework defined in Information Theory.
