Program Description:
The specialization in Computer Vision and Graphics has the following purpose and contents: To provide the students with understanding of the duality between computer based analysis of digitalized video images (Computer Vision) and computer based generation of digital images (Computer Graphics. To give knowledge and understanding of computer vision methods of monitoring a dynamic world and control of processes on the basis of this monitoring. To give knowledge and understanding of technologies of building Virtual Reality applications. To enable the students to analyze techniques and methods and use them in building Computer Vision systems and/or interactive Virtual Reality systems. The specialization is built around a range of courses reflecting the two main elements of the specialization.
