Program Description:

Every time we communicate via e.g. wireless networks we open ourselves up to attacks from hackers, etc. To avoid these problems, security experts and trouble shooters are needed - not just to deal with threats, but to anticipate them as well. By attending the Master programme in Communication Networks, specialising in security, you can become such an expert. The Master programme is based on the idea that network security 1) should be designed from the beginning, 2) should not be an add-on feature, 3) should be application dependent. The four semesters are designed with this in mind.
