Program Description:
KCOM offers a four-year course of study, leading to the degree doctor of osteopathic medicine (D.O.). Faculty members represent a full range of basic science and clinical specialty areas. With an emphasis on primary care, the curriculum is designed to graduate osteopathic physicians well prepared for the challenges of primary care or further specialty study.

The Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program of KCOM is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association’s Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (AOA COCA). The American Osteopathic Association’s Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation is recognized by the United States Department of Education as the accrediting agency for colleges training osteopathic physicians and surgeons in the United States. A. T. Still University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
