About the field of Physician Assistant: Physician Assistant (PA) programs are focused on patient care, as well as primary and specialty care in medical and surgical practices. Physician Assistant graduate students will learn to perform, under the supervision of physicians, many clinical procedures traditionally performed by a physician. They will study medical law and ethics, applied anatomy, laboratory medicine and clinical pharmacotherapeutics.
