About the field of Neuroscience: Neuroscience is the study of the brain and nervous system, including molecular neuroscience, cellular neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, psychophysics, computational modeling and diseases of the nervous system. It involves the principles of biomedical and biological science, neuroanatomy and the design and analysis of experiments. Students will study nerve cell culture, neuropharmacology and clinical neuroscience research in epilepsy, Alzheimer's disease, stroke and regeneration. They will learn about the biological, cognitive and modeling approaches to brain function and structure. Graduates can become researchers, neuroscientists, managers of neuroscience services, neuromonitoring clinicians and more.
