Political Science is the branch of the social sciences that focuses on the description and analysis of political and governmental institutions and processes. Specializations include comparative politics, international relations, political theory and philosophy, public law and jurisprudence, public policy and political culture. The field involves evaluating the behavior of individuals and groups in political settings. Students will study international peace and conflict resolution, voting behavior politics, political research design and analysis, ethics, critical theory and public opinion.
