The field of Educational Psychology Educational psychology deals with the instructional process and the ways in which students work in the academic setting. Specific areas of work include the management of behavior problems, acting as a liaison between students, teachers, and parents, and working to maximize the efficacy of the school's work in educating its students. This is a field whose demands are often both intellectual as well as emotional, but the rewards are proportionally great. Professionals may work in academic settings, researching the nature of the topics themselves, or as school psychologists , taking a hands-on role.
