ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION
Graduate School Programs - Master's, Ph.D.
As urban sprawl encroaches on more and more of our nationŐs natural resources, the work of environmental educators is becoming ever more important. These professionals focus on biological issues, practices, and themes, and how an understanding of them can affect the world in which we live. Environmental educators also work in the scientific arena of understanding natural phenomena and trying to better understand the nature of them, as well as teaching others about the various issues pertaining to the natural environment. Coursework includes, but is not limited to, classes focusing on natural history, conservation, and natural resource management. Graduates generally work as teachers, professors, or environmental advocates.
