The M.S.A. is a professional non-thesis degree program designed for undergraduate accounting majors who wish to pursue an advanced degree in the field and thus qualify to sit for the CPA exam. The graduate program requires 36 semester hours and can be completed in one calendar year, assuming full-time enrollment and that all prerequisite work has been completed. This program also offers an opportunity for part-time graduate education in accountancy for accounting professionals in the area. Practitioners are able to qualify to sit for the CPA exam through this program. A part-time student normally takes two years or more to complete the program.
