The Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at ACU equips graduate students to successfully complete the requirements for licensure as Occupational Therapists and to serve others in the allied medical field of Occupational Therapy. The 69-hour Occupational Therapy program is a residential program that will be offered at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX beginning in Fall 2014 and can be completed in two years by full-time students. Students will start as a cohort each summer and will graduate in the summer, two years later. The first cohort for this program will begin in Fall 2014. The program is designed to prepare students with sit for the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) for the practice of Occupational Therapy.
ACU has been granted candidacy status for the M.S. in Occupational Therapy by the American Occupational Therapy Association’s Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).
