The URI Master of Science in Accounting degree is the accounting credential for the millennium. The current business environment and continued development of accounting practice and theory has increased the need for graduate level accounting education. The strong demand for accountants in public accounting firms, industry, and government has been fostered by the increasing size and complexity of organizations, additional tax laws, and a regulatory environment with more attention than ever being paid to financial reporting and auditing.
