Master of Architecture and Master of Interior Architecture:
Track I – MArch or MIArch, 10 terms
Professional degree program for students who have a non-architectural undergraduate degree. The program is three-years plus one term (or ten terms) in length and begins in the summer.
Track II – MArch or MIArch, 6 terms
Professional degree program for students who have a four-year, pre-professional degree in architecture or interior architecture, respectively, from an accredited school. (A four year program is considered accredited if the school has an accredited graduate program.) This two-year program begins in the fall and is offered in two locations: Eugene and Portland (note: the Portland campus offers an urban architecture focus). Please note: Students who choose the Portland location must have completed coursework in Building Construction and basic technical requirements as shown in our program outline guides.
Master of Science in Architecture and Master of Science in Interior Architecture: Post-professional degree program for students who already hold a professional degree in the area for which they are applying (architecture or interior architecture). This is a 1.5-2 year thesis program that begins in the fall.
PhD in Architecture: A research degree for students seeking careers in teaching, scholarship, and leadership in sustainable design in universities, practice, policy, and consultancy. Students admitted to this program must already hold a master’s degree in architecture from an accredited program or have a professional degree in architecture and a master’s degree in a related field. Students admitted to this program will carry out a program of advanced study and research in sustainable design.

M.I. Arch is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA)
International Student Requirements:
TOEFL minimum scores - 575 on the paper-based test or 90 on the internet-based test.
IELTS minimum scores - (Academic module) overall band score for graduate admission is 7.0.
