Our curriculum has been approved by the Association of Applied Sport Psychology (AASP).The program is taught by several Certified Consultants for the Association of Applied Sport Psychology (CC-AASP) who are also recognized members of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) Sport Psychology Registry. The curriculum was specifically designed to address each of the 12 CC-AASP coursework competency areas to prepare you to become a recognized expert in the field.
You will learn from professors and business leaders who have experience practicing sport and performance psychology on a daily basis. The blend of core and adjunct faculty give students a diverse perspective on the how's, why’s and where's of sport and performance psychology practice from top professors around the world. A key strength of the UWS program is attracting multiple faculty practitioners with applied experience-most programs only have one faculty member with practical experience and CC-AASP certification.
The certificate curriculum, MS and EdD programs are accredited by the Northwest Commission for Colleges and Universities (NWCCU).
