The mission of the Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) online degree program is to empower a generation of public health professionals with skills, knowledge, and competencies to contribute creatively and ethically to education, research, and service. Graduates are prepared to address the health challenges of the 21st century and beyond. Public Health is a broad interdisciplinary field that is open to students from diverse academic disciplines including health services, education, business, social and natural sciences, and others.
The core, required and elective courses are designed to provide students with a high-quality professional degree in public health. The M.P.H. is allied with several academic centers/certificate programs that broaden the educational opportunities available to students in the program.
The curriculum of the University of West Florida’s M.P.H. program equips students with a solid foundation in environmental health, epidemiology, social and behavioral sciences, biostatistics and health services administration.
