The M.S. program in space studies is available to students on-campus and via distance education. Seven faculty members with diverse backgrounds in the space enterprise teach courses throughout the year and are supplemented by adjunct faculty located across the United States. Thesis and non-thesis options are available to students. Active and growing research areas in the department include: planetary space suit research and development, asteroid near-infrared spectroscopic studies, astronomical research, and life and earth sciences research. Both tuition waivers and graduate research assistantships are available for qualified students. The department seeks active, motivated students who desire careers in the space industry and who desire to make a positive contribution.
