The department of Criminal Justice offers graduate study leading to the Master of Criminal Justice (MCJ) degree. The program prepares students for careers at the federal, state, and local levels throughout the criminal justice profession.
The program offers both campus-based and online instruction
International Student Requirements:
International applicants submitting foreign post-secondary level transcripts are required to have their credentials evaluated by a recognized member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). NMSU requires a comprehensive course by course evaluation. In addition, international students must submit an English language proficiency exam (either TOEFL or IELTS.)
