The program is offered at the Emporia campus, Emporia State University-KC in Overland Park, and completely online. A score on the GMAT of 450 (or an equivalent GRE score) is required along with an undergraduate GPA requirement of 2.75 or better. For students who have completed their undergraduate accounting degree from an AACSB-accredited program and have a minimum GPA of 3.50, the GMAT or GRE is waived. International students must have a TOEFL score of 550.
Admission and initial enrollment is rolling in Fall, Spring, or Summer. The Master of Accountancy consists of five required accounting courses and five elective courses for a total of 30 credit hours and can be completed in one academic year or on a part-time basis.
