M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction - STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
The Concordia University – Portland M.Ed. degree program in Curriculum & Instruction: STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) is designed for preK-12 teachers wanting to develop the enhanced skills, knowledge, practical application and leadership abilities to effectively teach science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) courses in preK-12 classes. Candidates in this STEM concentration will learn how to make the connection between transformative education practices and how to effectively convey the scientific principles of critical thinking, problem solving, and inquiry to their students. Concordia’s C&I-based STEM M.Ed. program prepares teachers to take a leadership role in student attainment of state and national testing goals and standards.
