The Concordia University, Nebraska M.S. in Gerontology and Aging Studies – Mental Health Concentration online degree program gives candidates comprehensive knowledge of issues and trends surrounding our aging (and longer-lived) population, including study of a broad range of societal implications and realities. The Mental Health concentration includes 24 credit hours of Gerontology and Aging Studies coursework requirements, with an additional 12 credit hours of required courses dealing with mental health issues in the elderly, biological issues relevant to aging and the brain, and geriatric counseling.
