Doctorate Program in Educational Leadership - K-12 and Higher Education
"California Lutheran University’s Ed.D. in Educational Leadership program is designed for those in leadership positions in schools and colleges who wish to advance their careers or positively influence their institutions. There are two degrees within this doctoral program. The Educational Leadership (K-12) focus provides students with the conceptual lenses, tools of inquiry, and values necessary to positively influence elementary and secondary educational organizations and the people who learn and work in them. It emphasizes organizational and research skills, ethical values and leadership through theory and read-world applications. The Higher Education Leadership focus provides students tools and values necessary to positively influence institutions of higher education and those around them. This is a 3-year program (including dissertation) that guides students to understand the dynamics affecting college students and lead positive organizational change for these students. Course work is completed on campus 4 weekends each semester and 40% of coursework is done online for the convenience of fully employed students. The classes are taught at our main campus in Thousand Oaks."
