Professional Science Management Advanced Graduate Certificate Program
The University at Buffalo, State University of New York (SUNY) is pleased to offer The Professional Science Management advanced (graduate) certificate to graduate-level students in Chemistry, Geography, Geology, Physics and Natural Sciences Interdisciplinary programs. The Professional Science Management (PSM) certificate was designed to allow students to pursue advanced training in science without a Ph.D., while simultaneously developing highly-valued business skills without an MBA. The PSM is best suited for students who seek science careers in business, government or non-profit organizations.
Developed by University faculty and administrators working with scientists and managers in industry, the PSM, coupled with the student’s master’s degree, educates students in their chosen field of study while providing them with exposure and training in business (i.e.: internship placements), communications and ethics. Within the certificate program, students receive interdisciplinary training in one of four areas (tracks): Chemical Molecular Biology, Computational Chemistry, GIS and Environmental Analysis, and Biophysics.
