Textiles, Merchandising & Fashion Design: Area of Study in Textile History with Emphasis in Quilt Studies, M.A.
Offered through a combination of distance technology and on-campus instruction.
You'll be required to come to the Lincoln campus for 1 semester (January-May) and for the internship presentation and final oral examination at the conclusion of the program.
The semester on campus includes supervised hands-on experience in both collections and labs. There are multiple museum collections numbering nearly 4,000 quilts.
In consultation with a faculty adviser, you'll plan an individualized course of study linking your interests and background with the research and/or creative interests of faculty and educational resources at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
