The program is offered through a combination of summer class work and online courses during the school year. The summer courses take place in: Madrid, Spain; Leysin, Switzerland, Bangkok, Thailand, Prague, Czech Republic, San Jose and Costa Rica.
Endicott offers six international M.Ed. in International Education Programs: International Education, International Education Administration, International Curriculum Development and Supervision (NEW DEGREE), International Education with ESL Specialization, International Education with a concentration in Educational Technology, Athletic Administration.
Students can begin the program in the spring, summer, or fall, and can request to move from one location to another for their second summer.
The Master of Education in International Education is designed to:
assist classroom teachers, administrators and education specialists to meet the needs of diverse student populations in international schools.
recognize the interrelationship between all intellectual pursuits, the correlation of history and innovation, social progress and traditional values, and classical and contemporary cultures.
create an educational environment that encourages ongoing transformation, innovation, and skill development that are the foundation of excellent teaching.
Participants can complete one of these degrees in 13 months while working, or over an extended period of time to meet their personal needs, up to a maximum of seven years.
The M.Ed. is a continuous assessment model; students are not required to present a thesis or take comprehensive examinations.
The online courses are asynchronous, allowing students to log in at their own convenience.
