The Education Specialist (Ed. S.) in Curriculum and Instruction program is designed for candidates who already hold a valid teaching certification and wish to obtain an advanced graduate degree and S-6 certification. The program consists of 30 semester hours. All content coursework will reflect existing certification areas. There will be field assignments required to be completed in each education course in the program. Candidates will be expected to complete an electronic portfolio in addition to the Ed. S. coursework to demonstrate their ability with the conceptual framework principles of the College of Education.
Financial aid is available. Graduate students use the standard application process for federal aid, scholarships, and the HOPE Scholarship Programs (if applicable). As a graduate student, you may qualify for scholarships, loans, and employment.
