The Social Sciences are a dynamic, constantly changing field that brings great challenges to educators in school, community and at the university level. Students choose to pursue our graduate degrees in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Social Science for several reasons. Foremost, our highly accomplished faculty have strong backgrounds in their respective subject areas, and value close-working relationships. They want nothing more than to see their students succeed. Our graduate students also enjoy being a part of a small group of students who take the same lectures and labs. Classes are small, so students can easily form lab partnerships and study groups. We offer a small school atmosphere rarely found at a major research university.
