Students choose to pursue a graduate degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Elementary Education at Florida State for several reasons. Foremost, our highly accomplished faculty have strong backgrounds in their respective subject areas and value close-working relationships. They want nothing more than to see their students succeed.
Classes are small, so students can easily form friendships and study groups. We offer a small school atmosphere rarely found at a major research university, which provides our students with very unique and valuable classroom experiences. Those students seeking teacher certification are also eligible for a certificate in grades K-6 as well as reading and English as a Second Language (ESOL) endorsements that put them ahead of the rest.
