University of the Pacific’s Pharmaceutical and Chemical Sciences Graduate Program (PCSP) is a full-time, 32 - 45 unit program offered on the Stockton campus. Closely tied to industrial interests and trends, the Pharmaceutical and Chemical Sciences program is designed to provide students with a broad understanding of pharmaceutical and/or chemical sciences, prepare students for the challenges of both pure and applied research, advance knowledge in the specialization, and to encourage fundamental discovery in the chemical, pharmaceutical and healthcare science.
Pacific’s PCS program offers students the opportunity to earn a Master of Science or Doctor of Philosophy as well as choose from five focus areas. Concentrations offered include Bioanalytical & Physical Chemistry, Chemical Synthesis, Drug Discovery & Design, Drug Targeting & Delivery, Molecular-Cellular Pharmacology & Toxicology and Pharmacoeconomics & Health Care Outcomes and Services.
